It is a great pity that the majority of the people have to be deprived from the buying of alcohol just because of certain delinquent people who misbehave or cannot control their behaviour, after consuming or over-indulging in alcohol.
Surely it would have been more appropriate and meaningful to subject the sale of liquor to certain regulations?
In certain provinces in Canada, impulse liquor purchasing is not permitted, and all such purchases must be pre-ordered 48-hours before delivery can be taken, which means one cannot enter a liquor store to buy alcoholic beverages on the spur of the moment.
Furthermore, restrictions could be placed on the quantities one can place on order.
These restrictions have contributed to people drinking responsibly and not overindulging.
