Selim Kagee, will be performing at The Drama Factory on a nostalgic journey through time with Il Mondo.
In this concert the audience will get to experience songs performed by Selim and delight in anecdotes from his life and global travels, while being serenaded with classics like Il Mondo and Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Audience members will be transported to a bygone era where timeless melodies reign supreme, and memories of the last century come alive through the performance of classic songs.
Selim’s performance promises to evoke a myriad of emotions, from nostalgia to joy, as he captures the essence of each timeless masterpiece.
In 2012, Selim made his debut with the major label EMI Records, releasing his album Cry For Love. This album presented a diverse mix of original compositions and hits from various genres, showcasing Selim’s versatility as a musician.
Since then, Selim has performed in numerous orchestra concerts, captivating listeners with a blend of pop and operatic vocal styles, delivering both evergreen ballads and stirring original compositions.
In June 2023, he released a collaborative EP titled Love Notes with saxophonist Don Vino. This EP blends vintage pop and adult contemporary love songs.
