Classical guitar students of Stellenbosch University are ready to, once again, entertain Helderberg audiences with their talent and passion on this beautiful instrument after two years of silence.
This rather unique guitar concert forms part of the Classical Sounds concert series, hosted by the Helderberg Dutch Reformed Church.
Soloists include Christiaan Carelse, Dillon Cornelius, Joshua America, Marius Otto, Kyle Vollenhoven and Brent January, featuring works by Bach, Brouwer, Tarréga, Rodrigo and Villa-Lobos.
The concert starts at 4pm at the Helderberg Dutch Reformed Church, situated in Firmount Street, Somerset West, on Sunday May 15.
Refreshments will be on sale before and after the concert. All Classical Sounds concerts are free, but donations for the furthering of classical music and music development in the Helderberg area is much appreciated.
