There is a build up of great anticipation on the school grounds of Paul Roos Gymnasium (PRG), as they prepare for the first PRG and Grey College, high-profile, Interschools.
According to a statement released by PRG, there is a great build-up of excitement for this year’s event, after a two-year absence due to Covid.
The sports event will kick off on on Thursday August 18, with the Nashua Interschool Dinner, hosted by the Paul Roos Old Boys Committee, and supported by Abacus, Aramex, Health Squared, Eye & Laser Clinic and the Remey Group.
This occasion honours the various sports disciplines where stories about the rich history between the two schools are shared by a PRG and Grey Old Boys rugby panel.
Well-known South African TV personality and musician, Pietman Geldenhuys will MC the event and ensure guests are entertained while top SA rugby players Juandré Kruger (PRG), Schalk Brits (PRG), Heinrich Brüssow & Richardt Strauss, from Grey College will serve on the rugby panel.
There are only 110 tickets available to the public and proceedings commence at 6pm. Tickets cost R8 500 and make provision for ten guests. The ticket price includes a wine tasting on arrival, four complimentary bottles of wine per table, as well as a delicious dinner for ten people.

Besides the Nashua Interschools Dinner, other highlights of the interschools weekend include the jam-packed sports programme with the hockey matches set to take place at the Maties Astro and the rugby interschools on Saturday August 20, at the Markötter Sports Complex.
