The time has come for the annual Choir Colours Concert presented by the The Helderberg Village Choir at the end of this month.
The choir is pleased to present for your enjoyment their Colours Concert entitled, Songs with Colour.
The programme will feature some fun hit songs and old favourites including, Its Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Scarlet Ribbons, Rainbow on the River and Bye Bye Blackbird as well as some Afrikaanse Treffers, such as Die Blouberg Moet ek Oer and Daar Oor Kant die Spruit, and many more.
The concerts will be held on Saturday March 26 at 4pm at the Christ Church (behind Spar)on the corners of Helderberg College and Old Stellenbosch Road and on Sunday March 27 at 3.30pm at Helderberg Village Talani Terrace, bookings are essential for this venue. Call the Helderberg Village office at 021 855 8300 to book. Tickets are available at the door at a cost of R60 per person.
The Helderberg Village Choir was founded in 1998 and held their first concert at Christmas of the same year.
Membership is open to non- residents as well, and anyone who loves to sing is welcome. The ability to read music is an advantage but not compulsory. Rehearsals take place once a week on Fridays throughout the year except during December school holidays.
