Planting workshop

■ Prime Cape gardening season is in the winter months, when we have cooler weather and hopefully good rains. We have learned from last summer that one of the best gardening practises for a keen gardener is to plant containers. They are easy, versatile and can be moved to various parts of your garden at different times of the year, depending on how much shade and protection you require. They can even be used indoors or on the patio, and are easy to manage with grey water collected in your shower. On Saturday August 26, at 10am, the Pink Geranium will host a planting workshop, where visitors will plant two designer containers.
