Professor Aletta Odendaal, the chairperson of the Industrial Psychology Department at Stellenbosch University, and Dr Samantha Adams, a senior lecturer in the department, were at the recent open day, to inform prospective students about admission requirements, academic modules, and career opportunities, and to encourage interest in studies in Industrial Psychology as well as in Human Resource Management. These programmes develop knowledge and competencies in areas such as employee training and development, employment relations, career psychology, ergonomics, organisational behaviour, human resource management, and psychometrics.
