Patlansky is back in South Africa, after performing 26 shows in May and June in Germany, Netherlands and the UK.
Dan used his personal life experiences as inspiration for his latest album, Introvertigo, to ultimately marry good songs with guitar playing, and the album has been received with critical acclaim both in SA and abroad.
Dan recently received a nomination from the prestigious British Blues Awards for best Overseas Artist.
Other international accolades he has received include being voted number four of the Best Rock Guitarists In The World by Total Guitar Magazine, Male Artist of the Year by Blues & Soul Magazine, and Top 20 Rock Artists by Blues Magazine.
Dan was also nominated for Best International Solo Artist at the Planet Rock Radio Rocks Awards in February.
Dan is performing in Stellenbosch on Friday September 16, at the Drostdy Theatre at 8pm. Tickets cost R150.
