Coronnials: As opposed to Millenials, This refers to those born or conceived during lockdown. May also be referred to as Generation C.
Claphazard: Over-enthusiastic neighbour who, when saluting our essential workers, wants to high-five or hug his neighbours!
Caronadose: An overdose of bad news from consuming too much media resulting in a “panicdemic”!
Doughverkill: One’s social media being flooded by enthusiastic images of home-made breads, from sourdough to banana bread.
Quentin Quarantino: An attention seeker who spends their time making amateur films that they think are better and funnier than they actually are.
Covidiot: One who ignores public health rules and advice with reckless disregard for others’ safety.
Space Invader: One who regularly comes closer to you than the recommended 2 metres.
Goutbreak: An outbreak of gout from the consumption of too much wine, cheese, chocolate and coffee during lockdown.
Dinfluencer: Someone so proud of their new-found (often mediocre) cooking skills that they artfully photograph every dinner to boast on social media.
Quaranteam: The people and pets you are in lockdown with.
Covid 10: The 10kg in weight that we’re all gaining from comfort eating and comfort drinking. Also known as fattening the curve!
