For walkers on Friday morning, the first day of Level 4 lockdown, there was a cheerful and encouraging message written on the pavement, by Talitha Zunckel, 8, who lives on the mountainside of Somerset West.
Young Talitha’s artwork included a colourful rainbow, and the words “Enjoy your walk” and “Be kind”. She told Bolander: ‘I couldn’t wait to get out for a walk and show my dog and hamster the world again. I took them both for a walk on Friday and they were so excited!”
