There are 579 liquor licence holders that have not renewed their liquor licences, according to the Western Cape Liquor Authority (WCLA).
These businesses have either not paid the renewal fee and penalty fee for late renewal, or paid short renewal fee amounts which means their liquor licences have lapsed.Â
WCLA says liquor licence holders, who did not renew their liquor licences, can still renew them by today, Thursday February 28, by paying the renewal fee plus a 100% penalty fee.
For more information regarding the late renewal processes, you can contact the WCLA offices on 021 204 9805 or 021 204 9700 or Liquor.Enquiries@wcla.gov.za
