Knit blankets and beanies

Masikhule in Somerset West is appealing to everyone to knit blankets and beanies for the over 2 000 children, six years old and under, in the early childhood development centres it mentors in marginalised communities in the Helderberg. Join Masikhule to knit for 67 minutes on Mandela Day, July 18, or drop off your donations. Those not keen on knitting or crocheting are encouraged to consider making beanbags (15cm x 15cm) and to cover books at Masikhule for reading corners, on the day.
