Middelvlei Wines in Stellenbosch will be hosting a special Easter-inspired outing on Saturday March 30.
One of these special offerings include a South African braai where resident braai expert, Pinkie Tukwayo, braais your meat while you tuck into freshly baked potbrood with lashings of home-made snoek pate or jam.
The meat selection for guests, comprises a lamb chop, chicken sosatie and boerewors, is accompanied by a potato salad, green salad and traditional pumpkin fritters. There is also a children’s option available on the menu.
Although this is Middelvlei’s signature meal offering over the Easter weekend on Saturday March 30, and keeping with the theme of Easter, guests will have the option of either ordering homemade pickled fish or a hamburger and chips.
Entertainment on the day include live music by O’Ryan Winter between noon and 3pm, with soothing sounds for young and old.
While the adults take in the scenery and enjoy their glass of wine, on the estate, the kids have free roam of the property to explore or feed the farm animals.
