Hennie Smit of Sir Lowry’s Pass donated a hospital bed to Helderberg Hospice. Mr Smit bought the bed for his mother, who has since passed away, so he offered it to Hospice in support of the work it does for the community of the Helderberg. The bed was located in Kempton Park so William Sykes of Tecmed Africa arranged to transport the bed to Somerset west at no cost. This donation is a very practical way of enabling Hospice to attain our goal of bringing comfort and relief to its patients.
