The exhibition, titled Echo, is currently on at IS Art Gallery in Franschhoek, featuring paintings by playfully eccentric artist, Liekie Fouche. She creates mystical works that echo traditionalism, swirling together in a hybrid fashion multifarious influences from the early European renaissance, to rich South African landscapes, all the way through to space age motives and everything in between.
