The Somerset West Neighbourhood Watch (SWNW) has been formally accredited by the Western Cape Provincial Government’s Department of Community Safety in accordance with the Western Cape community Safety Act.
SWNW is one of the largest independent watch groups, with nearly 3 000 members, and comprises over 20 smaller area watches.
The accreditation process has been rigorous and time-consuming, but it is an acknowledgement of SWNW’s efforts and willingness to make the community safer.
