Musician Gareth James, a lifelong fan of Cat Stevens and Rodriguez, presents a tribute show entitled, A Tribute to Cat Stevens & Rodriguez in Somerset West later this month.
The show, designed to transport audiences back in time and evoke feelings of nostalgia will feature timeless classics of these legendary artists such as Cat Stevens’, Wild World, Father & Son, and Moon Shadow, as well as Rodriguez’s, Sugarman, I Wonder, and Rich Folks Hoax.
Accompanied by Kevin Reed on guitar and vocals, Gareth will perform acoustic renditions of the songs.
“We wanted to create a tribute show that really captures the essence of Cat Stevens and Rodriguez and their music,” said Gareth.
“Both of these artists have had a profound impact on so many people, and we want to pay homage to their incredible talent and the legacy they have left behind.”
The tribute show will be on Saturday May 11, at Triggerfish Brewery in Somerset West and doors open at 6pm and the show will start at 8pm.
Audience members are requested to order and enjoy their food before the show starts.
