Lions need help

The Helderberg Lions Club has a fundraising second hand book sale at Southey’s Vines craft market each month. The proceeds are used to fund projects the Lions have undertaken in the area. There was a burglary recently in the wendy house where the books are stored, and all the table tops and about 50 trestles used to display books during sale days, were stolen. Replacing what was stolen will severely deplete the Lions’ funds. The Lions really need to get the book sales back on track and any donations or help will be greatly appreciated.  If you have anything which could serve as a table top – such as old doors – or trestles that they can donate,  contact Sharlene Human on 021 855 2265 or Ted Gorham on 074 423 1814.
