As part of the outreach programme undertaken by the children of Somerset College, the Grade 5s held a successful nappy drive in aid of Heartlands Baby Sanctuary. A competition was held between the grades as to which grade would collect the most nappies, and the children managed to collect 15 000 disposable nappies to hand over to Heartlands. “Somerset College is very proud of their pupils for making such an amazing effort. We know that these nappies will make a difference to the lives of the children and staff at the sanctuary,” commented Margie Joachim, Grade 5 teacher.
