Disabled bowls champs

The Helderberg Basin will host the 55th National Championships of Bowls for the Disabled at the bowling clubs of Helderberg, Somerset West and Strand. The tournament takes place from Sunday March 22 to Saturday March 28 and includes disabled and blind bowlers from all over the country. There will be 48 physically disabled bowlers competing in the B6 – B8 categories and 48 blind and partially sighted bowlers competing in the B1 – B4 categories. The opening ceremony will be held at Helderberg Bowling Club at 8:30am on Sunday March 22. Play is from 9am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5pm at both Helderberg and Somerset West bowling clubs from Sunday to Friday, and the PDBSA men play at Strand Bowing Club from Wednesday to Friday.
