The upcoming book fair in McGregor is in aid of rescued and destitute donkeys at the Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary. The book fair, held from Friday May 19 to Sunday May 21, at the Community Hall in Voortrekker Street, will feature over 12 000 books on sale. About half of them brand-new, some fresh and pre-owned and pre-loved, but all in good condition. New books will be put out each day, and proceeds are in aid of the donkeys at Eseltjierus. The fair takes place from 10am to 5pm on Friday May 19 and Saturday May 20 and from 10am to 3pm on Sunday May 21.
