Ash angels needed

■ It’s a Volunteer Wildfire Services (VWS) tradition that when a new recruit gets to beat down real flames for the first time, that rite of passage means they get to make their ash angel – lying in the fire ash and swinging arms and legs up and down – like one would do in the snow.
