Bright Street Art Gallery in Somerset West invites artists, art lovers, and collectors of art to join them on Saturday March 12, at 10am, for the opening of the Winds of Change group exhibition, featuring sculptural ceramics by students of The Potters Place.
Participating artists are Anni Angus, Jane Barnes, Lily Brannon, Maritza Breitenbach, Belita Burger, Norman Field, William Olivier, Anneke Potgieter, Jalaun Schultz, Charme Southey, Aiden Taillard, Linda du Toit, Bert Touwen and Diane White.
In the courtyard behind the gallery, the Open studios @ The Creative Collab on Bright event will be held from 9am.
All art enthusiasts are welcome, and can meet the artists and learn a new skill. There will be a painting demonstration by Di White, and a free mini-workshop for children aged 7 to 11, where they can make a little funny bird with The Potters Place.
There will also be a beginners jewellery-making workshop with Jumpring Jewellery Classes and Studio, and learn sewing techniques with Sorted Tailors.
