Dan Patlansky will be launching his new album, Perfection Kills, at Kirstenbosch on Sunday March 25.
The album is a follow-up to 2016’s critically acclaimed Introvertigo, which was voted number one blues rock album in the world by Blues Rock Review USA.
Perfection Kills was recorded at Scherzo Productions, a recording studio in Dan’s home town of Pretoria, with Dan producing the album himself, something he hasn’t done in years.
“Perfection Kills is all about my vision of making a record that still makes the songwriting a priority as in the past; the final product delivers a far more real and organic result.” Dan recorded the 10 tracks to sound similar to what they would live.
Dan is currently on his UK launch tour for the album. Tickets for his Kirstenbosch show range from R135 to R160 each.
