The Western Cape Association of Flower Arrangers is hosting a competitive national flower show, at Lourensford Estate in Somerset West, on Wednesday June 6 and Thursday June 7, from 10 am to 4pm.
The show, titled “My Heart Lies in the Hills” will tell some of the history of Lourensford through the medium of floral design, story telling and music. Tickets are R100, from Jannie du Toit at 072 473 2420, and Kim Zimmerman at 021 852 2656. At 11am, event planner, Aleit Swanepoel, will givea free talk on “Trends in Modern Day Entertaining”.
