The Helderberg Dutch Reformed Church is holding an art exhibition with cheese and wine on Wednesday March 29, at 6.30pm, at the church, 82 Firmount Street, Somerset West. The theme is LIGHT/darkness – God’s love and beauty rejoice over the dark world we are living in. Several artists from the Helderberg basin and surrounding areas will be exhibiting their paintings. This event is a Stop It project of the church, active against all forms of human trafficking. They take hands with the STOP organisation (Stop Trafficking of People). Tickets for the cheese and wine occasion are available at R50 from the church office, 8am to 4pm weekdays. Artists who want to take part can contact Isabel Vroon at bella.vroon@gmail.com.
