In celebration of the 2020 harvest and the farm’s 321st birthday, Ken Forrester is hosting the ‘321 Harvest Stomp’, which will provide guests with the opportunity to assist in making their own wine, while tasting Ken Forrester’s wine range and enjoying lunch on the lawn. The event takes place at Ken Forrester Vineyards on Saturday February 29, from 11am to 3pm. The grapes that are stomped will be vinified separately and everyone will be given the opportunity to purchase the wine at “winemaking team”’ prices. Orders will be taken, and the wine will be delivered once it is bottled and ready to go. The Raithby Band will provide entertainment and a mini-stomp, ice lollies and a childrens’ lunch box will keep children busy. Tickets, from Quicket, cost R395 for adults and R150 for children under 18, and include the grape stomp, “Cheninitas” lunch, a walk around tasting and a selection of Ken Forrester wines.
