Hockey players shine

Thenish High School’s first hockey team has had an excellent season with some never-before-achieved moments. In 2019, they took first place at the All Girls’ Tournament, first at the Investment under-19 Tournament, fourth at the FNBSuper 12 Top Schools’ Tournament (invitation only), top team in the Western Cape and winners of the Boland Cup. Many of the individual members of the team also achieved Boland colours, and Lauren Robb was selected for the South African under-18B side.
