Falke Harvest trail run

The Falke Harvest trail run takes place at L’Avenir wine estate near the R44 about 8km from Stellenbosch on Sunday March 15. There are two distances; 6k and 11km. Entry costs from R130 for the 6km and  R150 for the 11km, while children under 18 pay R50. Registration takes place from 7am at L’Avenir wine estate with the 11km race starting at 8am and the 6km race at 8.15am. Pre-entries can be done online at www.dirtopia.co.za until Thursday March 12.Tickets are limited and, if available on event day, will be at an additional fee. Late entry children will have to pay the normal late entry fee.  This trail route will be a fast course between the vineyards with views of the wineland scenery. Runners on the longer 11km route will run on the neighbouring Nooitgedacht  farm. The routes include single-track in the forest, jeep track through the vineyards, and winding roads between the orchards.
