Cricketers make their mark

Three Parel Vallei High School cricketers each scored over 100 runs in two separate matches on Saturday February 9. Playing in the under-15A team against Hoërskool Dirkie Uys in Morreesburg, Jordan Swanepoel and Shanton Gertze had a 28- run opening partnership, scoring 182 runs and 115 runs respectively, making a major contribution to PV’s win by 402 runs. Levi Rennie, pictured right,  scored 139 runs off 110 balls in the under-14A game against Bishops High School, and he also took two wickets for 12 runs.
