Ingrid van der Merwe, from Somerset West, joined in the recent D4D (Distance for Difference) cycling event at Waterstone Mall, which is an annual awareness and fundraising event. Bolander encountered Ingrid after she had done two spinning rides the previous afternoon, and another one at 4am, and then a 30km ride on the road (she also did the Cape Town Cycle Race earlier this year).
