Your move: Parel Vallei High School chess players were selected to play for District East in the Metro Closed Chess Trials on Friday March 10 and Saturday March 11, at Sarepta High School in Kuils River. It was as a result of their performance in the District East Open Chess Trials held at Aristea Primary School, Kraaifontein, in early February that they were selected. The competition was tough, but PV hopes to hear that at least three of their players will be selected to play for Western Province in the National Schools Championships, which will be held in mid-July.
