Young chefs’ success

Logan Leisse is one of seven South African semi-finalists in a line-up of 135, representing 50 countries, in the S. Pelegrino Young Chef 2020 Edition. The candidates were chosen from more than 2 400 applicants by culinary experts at ALMA, an international educational and training centre for Italian cuisine. Callan Austin of Le Coin Français in Franschhoek, and Paul Thinus Prinsloo of The Restaurant at Waterkloof in Somerset West, were also selected as semi-finalists.
