Photographer Gideon Nel visited the beautiful Helderberg Nature Reserve last week, where he captured this image of the Cape Sugarbird in flight, against the backdrop of the Cape fynbos and incomparably-lovely proteas.
On Sunday, the mountains in the area were sprinkled with snow, after a cold front moved through the Western Cape.
