Wine harvest commemoration at Groot Constantia

■ The South African wine industry celebrates the annual wine harvest commemoration on Thursday February 1 at Groot Constantia Estate. The proceedings on the evening include blessing the harvest, commemorating the 359th year of the wine industry’s existence, and the honouring of a wine icon or institution with the special 1659 medal of honour for his, her or its contribution to the industry. Pictured is the Mzansi Youth Choir which will provide entertainment during the evening.
