Robert Todd, Gordon’s Bay
It would appear that Cape Town Municipality is more concerned with our usage of water than their own wastage of water.
I reported a water leak on April 22, on the road reserve at the intersection of Faure Marine Drive and Beach Road.
After my second email a week later, I received a reply:
“Good day, please be advised that your complaint has been escalated to the inspector of the area. I will request feedback to be sent to you. Regards.”
To date, no feedback and it is still apparent.
My questions are simple: Has this been investigated? Yes or no. If yes, is it municipal drinking water? If yes, what is being done about it?
If no, what water is it? It does not smell like sewerage, can it be better utilised?
