After devastating floods, the people of Kwazulu-Natal are in dire need of water.
Those living in the Helderberg region can now make a donation of 5-litre water bottles to be sent to flood victims, hospitals, old-age homes and others in need, by dropping donations off at the Sage & Thyme Coffee Shop at the Circle Centre in Caledon Street, Somerset West.
Water donations at Sage & Thyme can be dropped off on Tuesday April 26 between 7.30am and 5pm; on Wednesday April 27 (Freedom Day) from 7.30am to 3pm and on Thursday April 28, from 7.30am to 5pm.
De Hoop Primary School is another local drop-off point and donations can be brought here on Tuesday April 26 and Thursday April 28 from 8am to 3pm, and on Friday April 29 at 8am there is a final slot for donations to be brought.
Transport has been arranged for all donations to be taken to the Gift of the Givers collection point.
