Whatever your passion- healthy living, nature walks, mountain biking, trail runs, family-centric activities, artisan foods, wines, ciders and craft beers and, of course, apples – Grabouw is the place to be on Saturday May 5.
Apple and pear exporter, Tru-Cape Fruit Marketing, will be sponsoring two events in the company’s apple and pear growing region of Grabouw.
As a fundraiser for Grabouw High School, the Tru-Cape Grabouw MTB continues as a major attraction on the MTB calendar with the 55km MTB challenge, 27km fun ride and 10km adventure ride for newcomers and children.
The first race starts at 8am.

On the same day, on the opposite side of the N2, the Tru-Cape Applewood trail run and harvest festival, which raises funds for Applewood Preparatory School, will take place.
The event offers an 11km trail, starting at 8.30am through the surrounding farmlands, and a more gentle 5km fun run starting at 9am.
The routes take you though the apple and pear orchards that surround this country school.
A whole day of activities, food and entertainment will be on offer for the whole family.
