The Fairtree Simonsberg Contour Stage Race wrapped up with close to 400 mountain bike riders and 500 trail runners taking to the tracks over the past two weekends.
The King and Queen of the Mountains trophy went to AJ Calitz on Saturday and Chris Strydom on Sunday, while Katya Saggot took the title both days.
The Fairtree Simonsberg Contour stage race partnered with the Jan Kriel Institute as the official 2018 charity. This non-profit organisation is responsible for raising funds for the children of Jan Kriel School – recently announced as the best “Special Needs School” in South Africa.
