Tokara plant fair

Tokara family wine and olive estate opens its extensive farm garden to the public for its annual rare plant fair, on Saturday April 13,  from 9am to 4pm.  The event features sculptures by local artists, a dedicated indigenous garden, the cork oak forest, a terraced picking garden, the vegetable garden, wetlands and the mountain stream flowing into lily ponds.  A wide variety of plants will be on sale, from indigenous flora such as fynbos and proteas, to the more exotic. Entry for adults is  R50, in aid of a local charity. Children under 10 enter free. The Tokara tasting lounge, restaurants and delicatessen will be open.
