The fires that tore through the Helderberg mountains in early 2017 left in their wake immense destruction. It is now clearer than ever that action needs to be taken to not only protect the indigenous flora and fauna of the area but also the majestic large cats that call it home.
In honour of Heritage Month, the Art Curator Gallery has joined forces with the Cape Leopard Trust and South African artist, Fuz Caforio, to host a fundraising event in support of the Cape leopard and conservation of its ever decreasing natural habitat, using art as a medium to inspire change and raise awareness.
The Art of Conservation, MC’ed by Braam Malherbe, takes place on Saturday September 16 at 5.30pm for 6pm to 9pm, at the Art Curator Gallery on Lourensford Estate. The artist, Fuz Caforio, will be in attendance.
The evening will feature art, live music, finger food, fine wine and, a live auction.
The exhibition of Fuz Caforio’s work will run until Friday October 20. Entry is free, but RSVP to info@artcurator.co.za
