After reading the article about Hospice Social Services (Bolander, November 29), I felt prompted to mention something about the support my family and I received during the past few months.
It highlights the loss of a loved one at this time of the year.
My children and I were privileged to have Hospice care for my wife until her passing on November 12.
The support, comfort and understanding offered during this time is something we will always cherish.
My wife was a nursing sister at Hospice for 15 years, and to have the services of Hospice when she needed it, was somening special. Needless to say, they spoiled her.
