The Sunflower Fund will host its 11th annual golf day on Tuesday May 7, at Pearl Valley Golf Estate, at the Val de Vie Estate in Paarl.
Each golfer will receive headgear from Cobra Puma SA and the top four four-ball teams will receive prizes.
The day starts with a shotgun start, and carts are included in the four-ball fee.
Golfers will be treated to dinner and wine sponsored by Baarsma Wine, ending with a mini auction.
The Sunflower Fund is a donor recruitment centre and stem cell registry, maintaining a registry of potential donors committed to helping anyone in need of a life-saving stem cell transplant.
Funds raised from this event will enable The Sunflower Fund to cover the cost of education and awareness about the need for and the process to become a blood stem cell donor, as well as to cover the cost of the HLA tissue-typing test involved in the recruitment of donors.
