The Somerset West Unitarian Fellowship will hold a talk by Dr Martin Combrink, right, on “Laughter as therapy” – on Sunday July 3, at The Playhouse Theatre, at 10am.
Martin is a qualified laughter yoga trainer and the founder of the “Smile” programme.He is also one of the founders of Ananda Sanga Educational Institute, since 1991, and he studied Kriya yoga, yoga therapy and Ayurveda in the USA and India. After spending 14 years in the media industry, he decided to remodel his focus to mind/body strategies. He lecturers on yoga, meditation, laughter yoga and ayurveda, nationally and internationally.
Martin uses laughter therapy as a tool to enhance intelligence, and does work in schools and the corporate environment. A donation will be taken towards the cost of the venue, and refreshments are served after the presentation. For more information contact Anita at 021 851 5830.
