Dr Sara Andreotti, lecturer and marine biologist at the University of Stellenbosch, will present a talk about great white shark conservation at the Franschhoek Theatre on Wednesday October 18, at 6.30pm.
The talk is the result of a collaboration between the Franschhoek Theatre and SmallTalX, which specialises in public engagement presentations by experts.
Dr. Andreotti has conducted vital photographic and genetic research on South Africa’s white shark population. Her pioneering work sheds light on the movement and behaviour of the southern African white shark population.
Dr Andreotti, will talk more on this topic and share recent figures on shark population dynamics along the South African coastline.
