Stellenbosch University (SU) will be hosting an on-campus open day series for all faculties during which learners, parents and teachers will be able to visit the SU campuses and faculties in person.
This is the perfect opportunity for Grade 12 learners to obtain information on study opportunities.
“The great benefit of an on-campus Open Day is that learners can interact directly with University staff to obtain specific information on the various fields of study,” says Magdel Pretorius, acting deputy director at SU’s Centre for Student Recruitment and Career Advice.
The series will run over three Saturdays: On Saturday April 23, pupils and their parents can visit the Faculties of AgriSciences, Engineering, Science and Medicine and Health Sciences.
On Saturday May 7 it will be the turn of the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Education and Theology, while on Saturday May 14 the Faculties of Economic and Management Sciences and Law.
To ensure compliance with Covid-19 protocols, pupils and parents have to book tickets in advance. Only one ticket per pupil and one ticket per parent will be available per family. Tickets will be available free at www.quicket.co.za
In addition, SU will also be hosting an online open day for pupils and parents who cannot attend the on-campus open day. This virtual platform will go live on Saturday April 9 and be available until Sunday July 31, when applications close.
