■ DA chief whip John Steenhuisen was the speaker at the Mensa Winelands chapter’s monthly meeting at Helderberg Village in Somerset West on Thursday evening. Mr Steenhuisen, pictured with Mensa’s Yvonne Steyn, spoke at length about our contemporary politics, in a wide ranging talk titled “From Ramaphoria to the land question and a few things in between”.
The Bolander (formerly the Helderberg Sun) was established in 1996 and renamed Bolander in 2007. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Somerset Mall and Waterstone Mall within its distribution area.
