Artistic gymnasts from the Van der Stel Gymnastics Club in Stellenbosch won a number of medals during the South Zone competitions in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, which took place from August 18 to August 20. Head coach, Annette Nel, and her team of coaches are proud of the gymnasts’ accomplishments.
During the South Zone competitions, Anja Smit came first in mini-trampoline, Nina Joos and Marna Horn took second places in tumbling, Elrike Nel and Cadence Joos took third places in tumbling, and Lize de Villiers took fifth place in artistic gymnastics.
