Runners are invited to the next trail run as part of The TrailFun events hosted in the Bottelary Hills Renosterveld Conservancy (BHRC), on Saturday December 10 at the Bellevue wine estate.
According to the BHRC, the TrailFun events this year proved very popular and exposed runners to new and exciting wine farms in the region. In addition, R5500 was raised for local community development projects.
Routes are well marked and fun in a safe environment with a choice between an entry level 5km or more advanced 10km run. Runners can choose to run both or loop if a longer run is preferred.
Participants can enjoy a wine tasting at the host farm and linger longer in the winelands. Runners can opt for race starts with prizes for podium winners or enjoy a relaxed run at leisure with no groups, no crowds – just solitude in nature.
The 15km and 21km routes are relaxed starts only and are ideal training runs. Runners receives a timing card and medal. No dogs allowed. For event details and entries visit https://entries.trailfun.co.za.
