Situational awareness

Herman Ras, armed response and training manager at Secure Rite Security in Somerset West, presented a situational awareness workshop to students at the Helderberg Development Centre in St James Street. The workshop was designed to empower students who are studying to be domestic workers to be aware of crime and how to properly describe suspicious people and vehicles. “We need to empower everyone to help in the fight against crime and criminals,” says Mr Ras.
